ARTIST PROFILE

Art has been the common thread that has woven together every chapter of my life, from gardening and pottery to sewing and photography, each creative path leading me back to my truest passion: painting. Through painting, I’ve found a voice that speaks beyond words, a language of color, memory, and emotion.

I’ve been painting for over fifteen years, but since 2020 my focus has turned to pet portraiture, a journey that began with a single commission and quickly grew into a heartfelt calling. In just five years, I’ve completed over fifty commissioned portraits, capturing the unique spirit and emotion of beloved companions. Alongside this, I’ve created original cultural works that celebrate imagination, heritage, and everyday beauty. 

​My work has been juried and selected for the Fort Bend Museum Hispanic Heritage Exhibition, currently on view through November 1, 2025, and I was nominated for The Woodlands High School Art Trust 2025 Selection for my piece "Mi Alebrije, Karma". In 2025, I was also chosen by the Fulshear Arts Alliance and the City of Fulshear for their public art beautification project, where the city purchased rights to one of my paintings to be displayed on a traffic light box, bringing art into the heart of the community.
